Beginner Wheel Class Wednesday

Description

This is an introduction to wheel throwing.  This is a 4-week class which includes 3 pieces (bowl shaped) and a starter kit for $192.

Week 1 Anna will walk you through coning and compressing (building a good foundation).

Week 2 you’ll focus on opening and pulling walls and will make the 1st of 3 pieces.

Week 3 under a watchful eye you will make pieces 2 and 3.

Week 4 is all about glazing.  You will glaze your first piece.

This class also includes 1 trip of open studio time to finish glazing pieces 2 and 3 (which will be ready approximately 2 weeks after they are formed)

Class is 1 hour long (45 min on the wheel, 15 min clean up).

Class time is 6pm-7pm for ages 13 and up.
